A cloudy cold-feeling day, 43 degrees. It’s been sprinkling a bit, almost thought it looked like a few snow flurries? Surely not, must’ve been bad eye-sight! We haven’t had a killing frost, I expect it will happen this week with the temperatures they are predicting. The farmers have had a very nice fall for harvest.
Rufus went to Minneapolis today, he’s scheduled for 6 demos between this afternoon and Saturday afternoon. He plans to be home Saturday evening. Last week he was around here, nothing scheduled away from home anywhere. Not that he didn’t have things to do, just not away.
The first week of October I went to Wisconsin from Tuesday to Friday to stay with Jane Marie and the 4 children while Randall went to a minister conference in Pennsylvania. I enjoyed the time there, also spent some time with Rose and her 2 girls. Did some sewing, baking, yard mowing, taking care of children, cleaning, cooking. There’s no end of work with 10 month old twins. Rufus was in New York City from Wednesday to Saturday, Galen and Mark had to fend for themselves.
