The biggest news around this place - - - - Galen has a girlfriend! If you have been reading the previous letters, you might recall back in January I wrote about Rachel Bauman from Ontario, Canada , being here to help make cheese? Somehow, something more than cheese making came out of the deal. In spite of both of them having no intentions (and saying beforehand – not a chance) they couldn’t forget , and started writing and making once a week phone calls. Galen was up to see her 4 weeks ago and is going this weekend again. He’ll leave early Friday morning, it’s about a 12 hour drive. Then Monday morning he’ll head for home again. We are happy for both of them and frankly, quite pleased. We thought the first time we met Rachel last August , she’s a very nice girl. (Galen has been doing a lot of whistling while he works the last few weeks)
